Hodthorpe Primary School has a defibrillator on site.
The equipment is designed for anyone to use in a life-threatening emergency i.e., when someone has a cardiac arrest, has stopped breathing and is being kept alive by CPR. The aim is to re-start or restore the heart to a normal beat. The equipment can easily be removed by opening the cabinet door and activated at the location of the victim, and there are step-by-step verbal instructions for anyone using it to follow.
The equipment is regularly checked. View the location of the defibrillator at Hodthorpe Primary School using what3words.
